Laura J. Black, Ph.D.
Laura Black received her Ph.D. from the Sloan School of Management at the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her undergraduate and MBA degrees
from The University of Texas at
Austin
. She has worked for 15 years bringing cross-functional teams
together to solve complex organizational problems, particularly in the context
of new product development. Her research and work experiences focus on
increasing productivity through better design and execution of collaborative
practices and tools, and she has worked with start-up companies as well as
large manufacturing, logistics, pharmaceutical, and research and development
organizations. In addition to working at Greer Black Company, she serves
on the faculty of
Montana
State
University's
College of Business.
